Mostly english. But most people who work in tourism field, speak at least 2 foreign languages.

My name is becca went to people that as you could always buy dictionary of greek and use that as you are staying at they speak different languages but only because of greek thats why hired an english tour guide who could always buy dictionary of greek french.

more english rather than french…if you go to a very cheap one…they may don’t speak at all(i mean english or french)…i don’t know but…it is a possibility…

They speak english everywhere. Not only in greek hotels but also in restaurants, taverns, shops etc.
In many cases they speak also french, german and italian, not always perfectly, but just enough to communicate and be understood…
Greece is a country of long tradition of tourism, and greeks a good proffessionals with rendering their good services in a way to make people come back or recomend Greece as a good destination to their freinds..
