According to Article 8 of the Law 1652/30-10-86 (REGULATIONS CONCERNING THE HOTELIERS AND THEIR CLIENTS) and its 23rd Article “g) The keeping of domestic animals into the Hotel unless the Hotel is equipped wth special facilities is FORBIDDEN”

This means that since most hotels dont have special facilities the hotelier can deny. If your dog is not noisy take it with u without telling it to the hotelier
Most of them will deny because they are afraid that it will be a trouble … like making the room dirty and being noisy and so on. So, it depends on the hotelier. If they dont have many customers maybe they ll accept ’cause they want your money.
To be honest, I am in this business, and we accept only small pets that are carried in basketscause we know that it would stay there. Once there was a customer with a huge dog, we kept it in a small place near the hotel but not in the room.
As you can see the law in here is not that pet-friendly but greece depends on tourism and in family hotels u will notice that they will be VERY friendly and will try to find a solution for u. Have a nice stay in Greece !
P.S According to the law the hotelier is also responsible for any damage that will happen to your dog -as he is responsible for anything that will happen to you- which is another reason for not accepting pets too.

The hotel is pet friendly pets are not everywhere accepted.
